VitalSigns for VTAM (VSV) works by client-server and host-agent strategies: A VSV monitor resides on a mainframe host. VSV agents send performance data to the monitor from both local and remote TCP/IP, VTAM, and NCP resources. The VSV Server gets data the monitor has stored and delivers it to desktop browsers.
